Dr. Christine Casey

Wildlife Veterinarian
Wildlife Division

As the Wildlife Veterinarian, Dr. Casey heads up the Wildlife Health Program for the agency. She oversees the state's wildlife disease surveillance programs and coordinates with state and federal partners to monitor and mitigate disease risks. She leads development of health policy recommendations, and communicates to the public about complex wildlife health issues such as Avian Influenza and Chronic Wasting Disease.
